Who we are
Ahlfigh Limited (RC 1813694) runs this website. We are a private company registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission, Nigeria, based in Calabar. We decide how the details you give through this site are used, and we answer for it.
Questions about your details go to [email protected] or +234 814 932 2169.
When you send an enquiry
The Contact form asks for your name, your email and your project, and lets you add your company, a WhatsApp or phone number, your country, what you need and your timeline. It also notes the page you sent it from.
- We keep each enquiry in the site’s database as a form submission, so we can answer it and keep track of the projects we discuss. Only the studio team can read submissions.
- The form emails your enquiry to the studio, and a copy to you, through Brevo, the service that sends the site’s emails.
We use what you send only to talk with you about your project. We keep your enquiry for 2 years after we last hear from you, then delete it. Ask, and we delete it sooner.
What the forms note about each send
When you send a form, the site’s form software notes the time, your IP address and the browser you used, in a log of its last 1,000 events. We use it to find faults and stop abuse. Older events drop off as new ones arrive.
Counting visits
We use Google Analytics to see which pages people read and how they found us, but only if you allow it. The first time you visit, the site asks. Until you say yes, Google Analytics sets no cookies.
If you allow it, it records the pages you view, how you arrived, your device and browser, and your rough location (country and city, worked out from your connection), and sends the figures to Google. We see totals, not who you are.
If you say no, or have not answered, the site still tells Google that a page was viewed, without cookies and without anything that tells your visits apart. Google uses that only to estimate totals.
To change your answer, use Cookie choices at the foot of any page.
Who else handles your details
- Hostinger hosts the site and its database.
- Cloudflare delivers the site’s pages and protects it from attacks. It sees your IP address as you visit.
- Brevo sends the site’s emails and holds the newsletter list.
- Google runs the analytics, and YouTube plays a film when you press play on one.
Some of them keep data outside Nigeria. We do not sell your details, and we share them with no one else unless the law requires it.
Your rights
Under Nigeria’s Data Protection Act 2023, and the GDPR if you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you can ask to see the details we hold about you, correct them, delete them, or stop us using them. Write to [email protected]. We answer within a month.
If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission, or to the data protection authority where you live.
